Novapoint Road on your own project
A typical beginner's course uses a demo dataset. This course uses the road you are designing now. You send the base data in advance, Patrick builds the exercises on it, and after two days the team has a finished model of its own project and a much deeper understanding of what Novapoint can do.
What we work on
- Horizontal and vertical alignment on your own centre line
- Road model: cross section, pavement and layers
- Detailed 3D intersection design
- Cut and fill with soil layers, and quantity reports split by soil type
- Conversion rules, and how the road model lands correctly in Quadri
- Drawing production and delivery under national model requirements (R110 in Norway)

After the course
The team can take your own road from alignment to a delivered model and quantity report, on its own.

Quadri for project teams
Quadri is the model everything else connects to. This day is about getting the whole team to work the same way in it, so the model can be used downstream by the contractor and the asset owner.

Novapoint course for students
Many civil engineering programmes teach Novapoint every semester, and few lecturers have time to be software experts on top of everything else. Patrick runs the teaching for the students on the institution's licences and labs, with exercises updated for the current version.
