Road authorities and public clients

Designers at road authorities, counties and municipalities who must deliver model-based projects under national requirements such as Norway's R110. We train the team on your own project, not on a demo dataset.

Consultancies

Road departments that want to use more of Novapoint than they do today, and want the whole team working the same way in Quadri. A course in-house, and coaching afterwards.

Civil engineering programmes that teach Novapoint every semester. Patrick can run the course for your students, so the lecturer can spend the time on the subject.

After two days your team can take your own road from alignment to a delivered model and quantity report, on your own. Detailed 3D intersections, model-based workflow, and the hundreds of functions you did not know were there.

Patrick runs the Novapoint teaching for your students, on the institution's licences and labs, with exercises updated for the current version.

Why Patrick?

Novapoint has hundreds of functions, and Patrick was there from the start when they were built. There is more than one way to solve a modelling problem. After a course with him, you know which tool fits which situation.

He started as a road designer at the Norwegian Public Roads Administration in Drammen in 1988, drew the E18 through Kobbervikdalen on paper, and was one of the first to adopt NovaCAD. In 1993 Vianova called. Since then he has been CEO, chairman, domain lead for Novapoint Road and a product director at Trimble.

In all those years the best part of the job was sharing what he knew. Now that is all he does.
